Coonawarra, Alustrial - "It's hard not to be taken in by the sweet, woody aromas contributed by the whiskey barrels on this wine. They mingle with more typical Cab notes of currants, mint, cigar box, herbs and cola. The palate is medium weight with hefty tobacco-like tannins and crunchy currant fruit. The oak is most definitely on display here, and there's some heat from the alcohol. A tangy, herbal finish rounds things out". CHRISTINA PICKARD
