Distilled from 100% molasses primarily in DDL’s heritage four-column metal French Savalle still, both natural and artificial coconut flavoring is incorporated post-distillation. Aromas of birthday cake, pink chocolate, and toasted coconut introduce a rich mouthfeel displaying coconut oil, young oak, and brûléed sugar. A faint hint of coffee joins the lingering coconut finish. An alarmingly sippable coconut rum, this spirit’s full proof adds the little extra bite that brings balance to the whole.
