Tortola, BVI - Made with pure sugar cane juice, our Dark rum is aged three to four years in oak barrels and has a smooth and sweet taste. The recipe has been in the family for over 200 years. Dating back four hundred years, the Arundel Estate is the oldest, continuously operated distillery in the Eastern Caribbean. This rum has been distilled and blended at the Callwood distillery, which has been the Caribbean’s oldest continuously operating pot distillery for 200 years. This is the only licensed distillery in the Eastern Caribbean that uses a single pot still. It is also one of the few distilleries in the English-speaking islands that makes rum directly from sugar cane juice. The long fermentation time, the single pot still and the raw ingredients combine to make this rum unique. Passed down from generation to generation, the Callwood rum originates from the British Virgin Islands and has made its way to the mainland United States.
